1. Responsibility
Passengers must use the Driver's vehicle reasonably. A Passenger may be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for extraordinary cleaning or physical damage caused by the Passenger, accompanying guests, belongings or ordinary pets.
2. Ordinary Wear
Ordinary dust or dirt, ordinary seat use, normal wear, routine cleaning, ordinary maintenance and pre-existing damage are generally part of normal vehicle ownership and are not extraordinary Passenger damage.
3. Extraordinary Cleaning
Examples may include bodily fluids or vomit, significant food or beverage spills, substantial mud or contamination, smoke contamination where smoking occurred during the Ride, animal waste, or another condition requiring cleaning materially beyond routine vehicle cleaning.
4. Physical Damage
Examples may include broken interior components, torn or deliberately damaged upholstery, damaged doors or windows, damage caused by improper Passenger conduct, or other physical damage reasonably attributable to the Ride.
5. Evidence
A Driver asserting damage or extraordinary cleaning should provide reasonable evidence, which may include photographs, timestamps, Ride information, repair estimates, invoices, cleaning receipts or other relevant evidence.
6. Driver-Passenger Claim
Responsibility for the underlying vehicle damage or cleaning loss is principally a matter between the Driver and Passenger, subject to applicable law. Movygo may provide functionality to transmit evidence, facilitate a payment, maintain transaction records or administer a dispute process where required or offered. Doing so does not make Movygo the owner or insurer of the Driver's vehicle.
7. Disputes and Insurance
A Passenger may dispute an amount through the available process. Evidence from both parties may be considered. Movygo does not guarantee compensation to a Driver and does not guarantee that a Passenger will be charged. Where a loss is covered by insurance, rights and responsibilities are governed by the applicable policy and law.
