Movygo Ride Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Movygo Inc. · Initial Ride market: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

1. Passenger Cancellation

A Passenger may cancel a Ride through the application. A cancellation charge may apply after a Driver has accepted, begun travelling toward pickup, arrived, or after an applicable free-cancellation period has expired. The applicable amount or rule should be disclosed through the platform.

2. Driver Cancellation

A Driver may cancel where transportation cannot reasonably or lawfully proceed. Examples may include genuine safety concerns, unlawful Passenger requests, Passenger count exceeding vehicle capacity, inability to locate the Passenger after reasonable efforts, vehicle problems, road or access conditions, an ordinary pet that was not disclosed and cannot reasonably be accommodated subject to service-animal/accessibility law, or other legitimate circumstances.

3. Driver Arrival and Waiting

Waiting time begins according to the Ride rules displayed through the platform after the Driver reaches the designated pickup area and arrival is recorded or reasonably verified.

4. Passenger No-Show

A Passenger may be treated as a no-show where the Driver reaches the designated pickup location, the applicable waiting period expires, the Passenger has not appeared, and reasonable contact attempts available through the platform are unsuccessful where appropriate. A disclosed no-show or cancellation charge may apply.

5. Safety Cancellations

Neither Driver nor Passenger is required to continue a Ride where continuing would reasonably present an immediate safety risk or require unlawful conduct. Financial treatment may depend on the circumstances.

6. Platform or Payment Failure

A Ride may be cancelled if payment authorization fails or if a material platform issue prevents the Ride from being lawfully or reliably completed. Any completed charge or authorization will be handled according to applicable payment and refund terms.

7. Refunds

A cancellation charge does not automatically create a right to a refund. Duplicate charges, confirmed payment-processing errors or other amounts required to be refunded by law will be handled according to applicable payment and refund terms.
