1. Scope
This policy applies to ordinary pets, service animals, mobility devices, support persons and disability-related accommodation in connection with Movygo Rides.
2. Ordinary Pets
Unless a Ride is specifically identified as pet-friendly, a Passenger should disclose an ordinary pet before transportation begins. The Driver may determine whether an ordinary pet can be accommodated, subject to applicable law. The Passenger is responsible for reasonable control and supervision of the animal and may be responsible for actual vehicle damage or extraordinary cleaning caused by the animal, subject to applicable law.
3. Service Animals
Service animals are not ordinary pets. Drivers must comply with applicable human-rights, accessibility and transportation requirements concerning Passengers who rely on service animals. A Driver must not treat a service animal as an ordinary pet where applicable law provides otherwise. No unauthorized pet fee may be imposed solely because a Passenger lawfully relies on a service animal.
4. Service Animal Conduct
The Passenger remains responsible for the service animal to the extent provided by applicable law. Nothing in this policy authorizes another person to unnecessarily touch, feed, interfere with or separate a Passenger from a service animal.
5. Mobility Devices
Mobility aids and disability-related devices must not be treated as ordinary baggage where applicable law requires accommodation. Drivers must comply with applicable reasonable-accommodation requirements. A Driver should not move or handle a Passenger's mobility equipment without permission except where reasonably necessary for immediate safety.
6. Support Persons
Where applicable law provides a right to travel with a support person, the Passenger and Driver must comply with those requirements. Fare treatment applicable to a support person is governed by applicable law and booking terms presented through the platform.
7. Vehicle Limitations
A particular vehicle may have legitimate physical capacity or safety limitations. Such limitations must not be used as a pretext for unlawful discrimination. Where a requested accommodation cannot lawfully or safely be provided by the assigned vehicle, applicable legal requirements govern the response.
8. Reporting
Accessibility or service-animal concerns may be reported through Movygo's complaint process. The reporting process does not prevent a Passenger from exercising rights through a human-rights body, regulator, court or other lawful process.
